13/12/07 - Strategic Direction Statement - Planning for the Future

We have produced a Strategic Direction Statement, a twenty five year plan setting out our long term business aim to provide a reliable supply of clean, safe drinking water at an affordable price to our customers.

Whilst developing this plan, we have consulted with a wide range of stakeholders and customers to ensure that we concentrate on issues that are important to them.

This plan will be used by the Water Services Authority (Ofwat) in its 5 yearly review of our business. During this review, Ofwat set the amount we can charge customers to help finance our activities and investment programs. The latest review for the 2010-2015 will be completed in 2009.
